UrBC, Ozersk, September 19, 2017. ChTPZ Group presented its Vysota Arena project at Ozersk Council meeting; the meeting was chaired by Mayor Evgeny Scherbakov, the company press service reports.

The idea is to set up a multifunctional sports facility suitable for mini-football, volleyball, basketball, and hockey/skating in winter, a workout site, and a children’s playground with specially provided parking slots. For construction purposes, a module boiler unit and a transformer power substation need to be put up first.

‘This is going to be a multi-purpose building, not only an arena for professional athletes to train but also a recreational area as well as an attractive spot for all those living in Ozersk’s old city locations,’ says ChTPZ Group’s shareholder Andrei Komarov.

The decision to set up a public-private partnership to build the arena was taken by Chelyabinsk Region Government, ChTPZ Group, and Rosatom State Corporation in the spring. The construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
