Sverdlovsk Region: Leather Goods Output Down 78.3%

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 19, 2017. Sverdlovsk Region-based leather goods manufacturers’ output declined by 78.3% in the eight months of 2017 compared with one year earlier, Sverdlovskstat reports.
At the same time, the overall leather output rose by 12.5% in August 2017 compared with July 2017. However, this figure was 88.4% less than in August 2016.
Additionally, the output of paper and paper-based goods dropped by 31.8% in Sverdlovsk Region in the course of one year.
All in all, the overall output of companies in the processing sector rose by 4.7% in January-August 2017 compared with one year earlier and by 7.3% in August 2017.
At the same time, the overall leather output rose by 12.5% in August 2017 compared with July 2017. However, this figure was 88.4% less than in August 2016.
Additionally, the output of paper and paper-based goods dropped by 31.8% in Sverdlovsk Region in the course of one year.
All in all, the overall output of companies in the processing sector rose by 4.7% in January-August 2017 compared with one year earlier and by 7.3% in August 2017.
