Sverdlovsk Region: Building Businesses’ Turnover Down 16.4%

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 19, 2017. Sverdlovsk Region-based building businesses’ turnover amounted to RUR 60.6bn in the eight months of 2017, which is 16.4% less than one year previously, Sverdlovskstat’s data indicate.
The turnover of businesses and organizations in the culture, sports, and entertainment sector declined by 5.2%, down to RUR 4.6bn, that of businesses in the polygraphic sector by 5.9%, down to RUR 1.4bn.
On the whole, local companies’ turnover reached RUR 2,214,793,000,000 in January-August 2017, which exceeds the figures for one year earlier by 9.9%. The increase was most pronounced in the hotel and catering sector (1.7 times), furniture-making sector (1.6 times), and research and development companies (1.6 times).
