MegaFon Presents New Strategy & Brand

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 14, 2017. MegaFon is presenting the public its new market positioning strategy. The goal is to show the telecommunications provider’s transformation into a new opportunities operator. Changes will involve all advertising communication channels, the company press service says.

‘This May, MegaFon presented its new strategy based on our new mission: Providing Opportunities. The goal is to become our customer’s best choice and a reliable partner that provides what is needed when it is needed. MegaFon has embarked on a large-scale transformation process with a focus on our digital customer. Very soon, the brand will grow more open, more dynamic, and more reliable. Our new range of payment plans takes the customers’ relevant needs into account and is seen as the first change out of many in our product portfolio,’ says MegaFon CFO Vlad Volfson.

A new branding campaign looked like a logical further strategy-enforcement step. The brand’s new promises will communicate the new message of change faster and clearer.

MegaFon centers on the actual needs of digital customers, that is, smartphone owners who routinely use mobile Internet connection as a matter of course. To determine what those needs are, the company relies on advanced digital tools such as big data analysis and machine learning.
