Chelyabinsk Boxers to Fight Against Kazakh Sportsmen

UrBC, Chelyabinsk, September 1, 2017. Russia’s Honored Masters of Sports Eduard Abzalimov and Alexandra Kuleshova are going to perform in a fight in Chelyabinsk’s Tractor Arena on September 9 (Town Day). The event is coordinated by Russian Copper Company Boxing Promotion.
The two boxers will fight against players from Kazakh cities of Almaty and Kostanay.
The 33-year-old Eduard Abzalimov comes from Miass, is now captain of Chelyabinsk boxing team, European champion (2010), silver world champion (2009), winter of Junior European and World Championships (2001 and 2002), nine-time national prize winner (including gold, four silver medals, and four bronze ones). He is to fight with Aidos Arapov, who is only nineteen. Arapov is Junior Asian Championship winner and international prize winner. He also competed in the Junior World Championship 2016 in Saint Petersburg.
Alexandra Kuleshova is 26 years old and was born in Kyshtym. She is world champion (2012), silver Planet Championship winner (2008), four-time national prize winner (2010, 2013, 2014, and 2009). Her competitor Aigerim Kasenayeva is 19 and comes from Almaty. Kasenayeva won silver in Kazakhstan Championship in 2014 and two bronze medals in the same championship in 2016 and 2017. She is also bronze winner of Astana Cup 2015.
