UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 1, 2017. ChTPZ Group’s Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ) got certified for compliance with STO Gazprom 9001-2012 standard within the framework of Intergascert, a certification system members join voluntarily, the Group’s press service reports.

‘The audit included assessment of the plant’s pipe design, development, production, and delivery,’ the press service says.

The certificate proves PNTZ’s quality management systems fully meet Gazprom’s corporate standards set for goods suppliers.

‘The audit committee members spoke very highly of the way the plant implements the so-called White Metallurgy principles on site, uses IT systems expansively, ensures the personnel’s excellent qualifications and expertise in the field of quality management requirements, promotes procedure implementation culture, keeps improving the quality of internal audits, and applies statistical methods,’ says ChTPZ Group’s Technical Director Kirill Nikitin.

The Group’s Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant was one of the first assets to get certified. The Group has been cooperating with Gazprom for many years now and keeps supplying pipes for the latter’s key projects such as the Power of Siberia, Nord Stream 2, Bovanenkovo-Ukhta, Ukhta-Torzhok, and Gryazovets-Vyborg.
