UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 23, 2017. SKB-Bank’s representative is going to be on the judges’ panel at Finopolis 2017, a financial startups contest and an important event in the national finance sector, in Sochi this fall, the bank’s press service reports.

The startup contest is held during Finopolis Innovative Finance Technologies Forum every year; the event gets coordinated by Russia’s Central Bank. The contesting startups get selected by a judges’ panel comprising representatives of the FinTech Association member banks.

Startups can present projects ranging from scoring, biometric, and insure tech technologies to stock trade and investment to machine learning, AI, and block chain.

‘The banking business is reaching new levels and trying to grow more customer-friendly. There are plenty of finance startups out there that offer successful solutions to our customers’ various needs. We see potential in cooperation and joint efforts to develop banking and finance technologies sectors together. This is why the event looks so interesting,’ says SKB-Bank’s Strategic Projects Director Alexei Lutsenko.
