Sverdlovsk Region: 1,200 Foreign Nationals to Get Deported

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 31, 2017. Sverdlovsk Region’s district judges and Justices of the Peace ruled that 1,170 foreign subjects and individuals without a citizenship should get deported from Russia, Sverdlovsk Region Court’s press service reports.
Over 16,000 people faced administrative arrest. Judges report the number of administrative arrest warrants acted upon has been going up, whereas that of actual deportations following a deportation order has been on the decrease.
‘So far, deporting 776 foreign subjects has tuned out to be problematic. There are currently 95 foreigners in a special temporary detention ward waiting to get deported,’ the press service says.
