28 July 2017 (14:32)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 28, 2017. EVRAZ Holding is planning to put up new filtering facilities at its Gorno-Shorsky Subsidiary’s Sheregeshskaya Mine, EVRAZ Holding Siberia’s Corporate Relations Center reports.
The project will require over 460m RUR worth of investments to complete.
‘These up-to-date filtering facilities will be part of the bigger mine reconstruction project, resulting in greater crude ore production output and a considerably reduced environmental impact. Thanks to the new facilities, the quality of water in the River Bolshoy Unzas, the local village’s primary artery, will improve greatly,’ says Evrazruda’s Managing Director Vladimir Melnichenko.
The construction and launch of the first section of the filtering units is scheduled for December 2018. The new equipment will ensure much better purification of ground water from solid particles and mineral products.
