UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 18, 2017. EVRAZ Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Works (NTMK) launched a new round bar finishing facility at the plant’s heavy milling department, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s Corporate Relations Center reports.

The new facility is expected to double the site’s production capacity, improve the metal finishing quality, and increase product range. All this is meant to help the plant get a larger share of the promising pipe shell market.

The solemn launching ceremony was attended by EVRAZ Vice President and head of EVRAZ Holding Ural Maxim Andriasov, EVRAZ NTMK and EVRAZ Kachkanar Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise Managing Director Alexei Kushnarev, and Mayor of Nizhniy Tagil Sergey Nosov.

‘The project is expected to enhance production efficiency, and our team did a very good job on it. We have many more interesting initiatives to work on in order to ensure the plant’s development,’ Maxim Andriasov said.
