UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 21, 2017. Italy Meets the Urals Business Forum opened in Yekaterinburg on June 20, with over two hundred Russian companies joining in the event, Governor of Sverdlovsk Region’s Information Policy Department reports.
The forum is part of Italy’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia Cesare Maria Ragaglini’s visit to the Mid-Urals.
‘It would be a mistake to think of Russia as isolated from the international business arena. We see this country as our strategic partner. We’ve been working together on these friendly terms for the last three years now, with strong ties in machine-building and the energy sector. I am confident that today’s meetings will both strengthen our existing partnerships and serve a springboard for new negotiations,’ the Ambassador said.
‘Sverdlovsk Region’s Minister for International & Foreign Economic Relations Andrei Sobolev thanked the Italian Embassy, Italian Honorary Consul in the Ural RegionRoberto D’Agostino, and head of Instituto nazionale per il Commercio Estero’s Ural division’s press center Valentina Kulikova for their cooperation. Also, a thank-you letter was presented to the Italian Embassy in Moscow’s Trade Department on Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuivashev’s behalf,’ the department says.
