Sverdlovsk Region: 1.2bn RUR in Bad-Debt Housing Bills

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 19, 2017. Home owners and tenants based in Sverdlovsk Region owed their suppliers 1.2bn RUR in unpaid, bad-debt housing bills as of late March 2017, Sverdlovskstat reports.
The overall amount of unpaid housing bills reached 27bn RUR in April. The housing services companies provided the end users with 25.1bn RUR worth of services in the first quarter of the year, whereas the end users’ payments amounted to 22.5bn RUR, which means 89.7% of all bills did get paid.
62.2% of the housing bill amounts stem from heating energy consumption and 21.3% stem from electric power consumption.
