UBRD Issues Over 28,000 Mir Cards

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 9, 2017. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development (UBRD) started issuing the national payment system Mir cards on March 1, 2917, with over 28,000 cardholders by now, the bank’s press service reports.
The UBRD was thus among the top three Mir card issuers in April 2017.
According to the bank’s Banking Services Sales Director Sergei Zinoviev, some 120,000 Mir cards will have been issued for the bank’s existing customers/civil sector workers’ salary accounts by the end of the year.
‘Our new customers employed at the state-run enterprises will also get Mir cards as their salary account ones. Around 5,000 cards were issued between March and May all in all,’ Zinoviev says.
‘The bank offers the card and the account administration services in over forty Russian federal constituencies,’ says MIR’s NSPK Deputy Director for Customer Relations Olga Rabadzey.
