Ural Federal District: Housing Construction Down 34.1%

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 7, 2017. 765,000 m2 of new housing got put up in Ural Federal District in the first quarter of the year, which was 34.1% less than one year earlier, Sverdlovskstat reports.
Most of these new apartment buildings were put up in Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk Regions (231,500 m2 and 223,800 m2, respectively).
Also, private builders put up 296,200 m2 worth of detached houses, with most of these based in Sverdlovsk and Tyumen Regions (136,800 m2 and 80,200 m2, respectively).
