ChTPZ Group to Work With Gazprom

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 2, 2017. ChTPZ Group representatives took part in a recent off-site meeting coordinated by Gazprom Chair of the Board Alexei Miller, the Group’s press service reports.
The meeting, held on the premises of Silovye Machiny, covered issues relating to Gazprom’s cooperation with Russian metallurgical and machine-building enterprises. The event was attended by heads of Gazprom’s core departments and daughter enterprises, top managers of the leading national pipe manufacturers and metallurgical businesses such ChTPZ Group, Pipe Metallurgical Company, United Metallurgical Company, Severstal, and the Pipe ManufacturersAssociation.
ChTPZ Group’s Chair of the BOD Andrei Komarov, Director-General of its pipe manufacturing division Alexander Grubman, and Commercial Director Denis Prikhodko represented their company at the meeting.
Gazprom and ChTPZ Group signed a long-term agreement for serial production and delivery of and after-sale services for the Group’s piping produce in the next several years. Under the terms of the agreement, the Group’s Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant is to supply pipes (diameter: 508 mm; layer thickness: 20.6 to 24.9 mm) for the construction of underwater and on-shore pipelines in Gazprom’s Kirinskoye and Yuzhno-Kirinskoye Deposits on the island of Sakhalin.
