UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 2, 2017. ChTPZ Group’s Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (ChTPZ) got its quality management system certified for compliance with STO Gazprom 9001-2012 standards and was one of the first to also get certified within INTERGASCERT, a voluntary certification system, the Group’s press service reports.
The compliance certificate was given to the company representatives by Gazprom Chair of the Board Alexei Miller following a meeting on Gazprom’s cooperation with Russia’s metallurgical and machine-building enterprises.
‘INTERGASCERT is a system that will enhance business efficiency and cut down on the overall prime cost of our projects without affecting the reliability and safety parameters. This is possible due to new quality management algorithms at play,’ the press service says.
The plant’s pipe and ceramic flux design, development, production and delivery processes got audited by INTERGASCERT, Gazprom, and Russian Register Association representatives. The auditors stated that the plant’s integrated management system was both efficient and compliant with Gazprom and its daughter enterprises’ quality requirements.
