1 June 2017 (13:00)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 1, 2017. Sverdlovsk Region-based towns where nuclear facilities are operated will receive 900m RUR in subsidies, Governor of Sverdlovsk Region’s Information Policy Department reports.

A provision to this effect was adopted at Sverdlovsk Region Government’s meeting chaired by Governor Evgeny Kuivashev on May 31. The provision sets out the terms and conditions for this year relating to money transfers from the constituency’s budget to municipalities where nuclear industrial facilities are based. The funds are to be directed to socioeconomic and infrastructure development.

‘According to Sverdlovsk Region’s Finance Minister Galina Kulakova, the provision adopted today will cover distribution of 900m RUR among local nuclear towns. The three towns in question — Zarechny, Novouralsk, and Lesnoy, all of which have a nuclear industrial facility operating in them — will receive 300m RUR each,’ the Department states.
