Yekaterinburg’s Akademicheskiy District to Get Rowan-Tree Alley

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 31, 2017. An environmental event coordinated by Trassa and Gazprom Transgaz Yekaterinburg’s trade union will take place in Yekaterinburg’s Akademicheskiy District on May 31, 2017, RSG-Akademicheskoye’s press service reports.
The tree-planting is part of Gazprom’s Year of the Environment and is scheduled around International Children’s Day. Trassa reporters and Gazprom employees will be planting a rowan-tree alley together with their children.
‘This is the second stage of the project Akademicheskiy embarked on four years ago. In May 2013, twenty rowan-trees got planted in the alley to celebrate Gazprom’s 20th anniversary. This time, thirty more rowan-trees will be planted to finish the landscape off. A memorial plaque will also be put up here later on,’ the press service says.
The planting will start at 44 Pavel Shamanov St at 2PM.
