UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 10, 2017. The demand for trips to Turkey rose by fifteen times this May compared with May 2016, with the share of Turkey-related search engine entries up from 1.5% last May to 21.3% this month, tutu.ru’s press service reports.

An all-inclusive, week-long stay package currently costs 23,500 RUR per person.

At the same time, increasingly fewer people are interested in traveling around Russia: the share of search engine entries related to national health and seaside resorts dropped from 24.4% last year down to 12.7% this year. An all-inclusive package costs 9,500 RUR per person on average (against 7,600 RUR last year), which is the lowest-price offer on the all-inclusive tour market.

Greece, Cyprus, Tunisia, Thailand, the UAE, Vietnam, the Czech Republic, and Spain are also among the ten most popular package tour destinations. Trips to the UAE come at the highest price (48,400 RUR per person for a seven-night stay), followed by those to Vietnam (45,700 RUR) and Thailand (40,000 RUR). The least expensive trips are those around Russia (9,500 RUR), Turkey (23,500 RUR), and Tunisia (25,100 RUR).

Around 90% of package trips to Turkey and Tunisia are all-inclusive ones. For Thailand, Greece, Cyprus, the UAE, and Spain the shares come to 28%, 62%, 43%, 34%, and 23%, respectively.
