ChTPZ Group Workers Get State Awards

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 28, 2017. Four workers of ChTPZ Group’s Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant received state awards after Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree to this effect, the company press service reports.
The solemn awarding ceremony took place in Plenipotentiary Representative of Russian Federation President in Ural Federal District’s office in Yekaterinburg.
Roller Sergey Obsekov and hot-roll section foreman Gennady Ikrin from the plant’s pipe-rolling department were awarded the honorary titles of Russia’s Honored Metallurgist. Head of the plant’s electric pipe-welding department Vadim Trofimov and senior foreman from the pipe-rolling department Alexander Chuyev received Medals of the For Merit to the Fatherland Order (Class II).
‘It seems quite symbolic that we are congratulating the Urals’ residents who deserved their state awards on the eve of Labor Day. The President’s decision to assign an award is a great way to acknowledge their personal efforts and many years of productive performance. Let me thank you for your conscientious work, both on behalf of our head of state and in my own name. I wish you a great Labor Day and wish you happiness, health, inexhaustible energy, and new achievements for the good of this country,’ said Plenipotentiary Representative of Russian Federation President in Ural Federal District Igor Kholmanskikh.
