23 March 2017 (13:51)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 23, 2017. ChTPZ Group designed a new variety of pipes with ChT-2C Premium, the airtight threaten joints, the company’s PR Department reports.

The new pipe types will be produced at the Group’s Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant’s Finishing Center and delivered to customers starting from the second half of the year.

The joints are strong enough to be fit for harsh climatic conditions. ChT-2C can withstand all sorts of impacts related to stretching, compression, and internal and external pressure.

The new threaded joint proved reliable in the course of tests carried by the Russian testing center VNIIGAZ and by a Germany-based authorized testing center. The tests proved the product’s compliance with the ISO 13679/API 5C5 standards and made it clear that ChT-2C are even better than its existing Russian and foreign counterparts in certain respects.
