Sverdlovsk Region: Country Cottage Rent Down 4%

UrBC, Moscow, February 6, 2017. The average monthly rent for a Sverdlovsk Region-based country cottage declined by 4%, down to 68,710 RUR, in the course of 2016; this is now the country’s fifth largest figure, Mir Kvartir reports.

The country’s average amounted to 32,580 RUR last year, which was below the figures for the year 2015 by 6.3%.

According to Mir Kvartir, only in eight Russian constituencies out of sixty-one die the rental prices actually go up; in fifty-three constituencies, these dropped.

Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Moscow and Leningrad Regions are predictably at the top of the price rating: it costs 109,560 RUR a month on average to rent a house in Moscow and 99,650 RUR to rent a place in Moscow Region. The rental prices for Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Region come to 82,500 RUR and 73,520 RUR a month, respectively.
