UrBC, Yekaterinburg, February 3, 2017. A firefighting and prevention plan for the year 2017 was recently adopted at Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s head plant, the company press service reports.
‘This is something we do on a regular basis in order to increase the firefighting capacity of our head plant’s facilities and to meet the state firefighting surveillance authorities’ requirements,’ the press service says.
This year, the plant will invest in new firefighting automatic equipment and fire alarm systems at thirty different divisions. The company will also get new fire extinguishers, rubber hoses, and other fire-fighting implements to fill up on its reserves.
In fact, quite a few things were done in this respect last year as well: automatic fire prevention and fire alarm systems got installed in eight plant divisions, and the existing 438 fire alarm and evacuation control units underwent maintenance checks.
