EVRAZ Holding’s Raspadskaya Miners Meet Year’s Target Figures

14 December 2016 (14:06)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 14, 2016. Miners from EVRAZ Holding’s Raspadskaya Mine have already met this year’s target output figures (5,000,000,000 kg of coal), EVRAZ Holding Siberia’s press office reports.

The mine’s management congratulated their team on this achievement, stressing in particular the efforts of Vasily Pasichinsky, Stanislav Kovtunets, and Alexei Ivanov.

‘Raspadskaya was the second Kuzbass-based mine to produce 5,000,000,000 kg of coal this year, despite the problematic increased ash content in the coal material. Now that we are moving to the sixth layer of current long-face with lower ash content, the company’s economic indicators will prove even better,’ says Raspadskaya Coal Company’s Director-General Sergei Stepanov.

There are currently seven developing and three producing sections at the mine, with monthly output between 450,000,000 kg and 600,000,000 kg of coal.
