UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 14, 2016. Nine alumni of ChTPZ Group’s Future of White Metallurgy Corporate Training Program pledged their allegiance to the Russian Armed Forces’ flag in Gorniy Shchit, Sverdlovsk Region. According to the Group’s press service, the solemn ceremony was attended by the military from Central Military District, heads of ChTPZ Group’s Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant, and representatives of the Group’s Training Center.
‘You are going to serve your army term at one of the legendary units that is proverbial for its highly professional commanding officers, its disciplinary standards, and its stable performance. This will also prove a useful experience for your civilian life one year later. We’ll be happy to see you all at Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant, where you can grow to become highly skilled metallurgists,’ said the plant’s Managing Director Alexei Dronov.
There are currently thirty-eight program alumni serving their army term in Gorniy Shchit, including these nine newcomers. Yesterday’s students are already monitoring Russia’s air space from the River Volga to Lake Baikal.
Now the Group signed a special agreement with Central Military District, Sverdlovsk Region Government, and Pervouralsk Metallurgical School in 2012. Under the terms of this agreement, the Group’s corporate training program alumni all serve their army term in Gorniy Shchit near Yekaterinburg, working in telecommunications and air defense sectors.
