UrBC, Moscow, November 21, 2016. Yekaterinburg’s Akademichesky District is now No.1 on Russia’s Top20 housing projects list according to Kommersant-Nedvizhimost, RSG Abademicheskoye’s press service reports.

The entire quarter was estimated to have required $12bn in investments, which comes to nearly one-fifth of the amount that is expected to be invested in all the projects on the top twenty list altogether. Akademichesky is also almost 1.5 times more expensive than Bolshoye Domodedovo in Moscow Region, which comes next on the list.

The plan is to put up 9m m2 worth of housing and over 4m m2 worth of commercial and industrial estate all in all; some 325,000 people are expected to reside in Yekaterinburg’s most up-to-date and promising district.
