Uralfransavto Owner Goes Bust

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 15, 2016. Sverdlovsk Region Arbitration Court declared the former owner of ZAO Uralfransavto Alexander Ivansky bankrupt; the debtor will now have to undergo bankruptcy proceedings, the court report states.

The case against Ivansky was instituted by AO UniCrediBank last November; the plaintiff’s claims amounted to 290.7m RUR. A number of other creditors, including Bank Soyuz, Sberbank, Uralsib, Credit Europa Bank, and Reserve joined the case as plaintiffs in the months to follow; the exact amount of their claims hasn’t been stated by the court as of yet.

Sverdlovsk Region Arbitration Court declared ZAO Uralfransavto (Peugeot and Citroen’s official dealer in Yekaterinburg) bankrupt in March; the motor show at 65A Metallurgov St, formerly owned by the company, was put up to auction and sold for 152.75m RUR.
