UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 9, 2016. Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s department heads and directors are currently undergoing a continuous professional development course (dubbed Executives’ School) on the head plant’s premises, the company press service reports.

For the next seven months, twenty students on the course will work on four training modules (HR Management, Accounting, Lean Production, and Production Organization) every Friday and Saturday. A certificate will be issued to the course participants upon each module’s completion.

The training sessions and workshops will be conducted by the corporation’s own staff as well as by Ural Vagon Zavod Corporate University member colleges’ faculty.

The company’s Personnel Training Center’s Director Sergei Vassilyev says they took their time designing the course and deciding on the most vital topics to cover and areas to focus on, and selected the prospective students very carefully.

‘A successful course applicant will be either head of department or their promising deputy under forty-five, with a college degree and managerial experience,’ Vassilyev is quoted as saying.
