EVRAZ NTMK to Buy Equipment for Blast Furnace 7

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 1, 2016. EVRAZ Holding’s Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Works (NTMK) placed orders for engineering and supply of the equipment needed to build blast furnace 7 at the plant, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s press office reports.
The equipment will be supplied by Paul Wurth S.A., the world’s leading engineering and technical solutions provider for metallurgical enterprises. Paul Wurth is to deliver aspirating appliances, a bell-less top unit, gas-filtering equipment, fireproof casing, and copper coolers.
The order for electric equipment and automation systems was placed with Primetals Technologies, which came to replace EVRAZ NTMK’s long-time partner Siemens VAI.
