Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s member enterprises in Nizhniy Tagil, Rubtsovsk, Chelyabinsk, and Volchansk were issued quality management system, environmental management system, and safety and healthcare management system certificates, the company press service reports.

The SovAsk certificates were issued by Monolit-Cert and are valid for the next three years. This audit was one of the steps taken to improve the corporation’s management system.

‘A unified management system covers all the inter-connect systems and subsystems, including strategic, financial, project, quality, business, environmental, and safety and healthcare management systems. Our organizational management system also covers legal and methodological support of managerial processes in order to ensure the most efficient organization of work performance,’ the press service says.

The company has developed a set of documents to regulate its business processes by now and is getting its business management system re-certified in accordance with the international IRIS standards for the railway industry on October 17-21.
