18 October 2016 (14:02)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 18, 2016. Ural Airlines completed the selection procedure for all the candidates who applied for co-pilot training, the airline’s press service reports.

Applications could be submitted on September 26-29, 2016, with thirty-two people getting selected out of fifty-two candidates. The successful candidates now have a chance to train as co-pilots and work for the company.

‘All our candidates have a valid pilot’s license, some of them worked for other air carriers before and have actual flying experience, yet all of them were still faced with strict selection. The candidates had to prove their competence in the course of an interview with the company pilot instructors,’ the press service says.

Also, the selected candidates’ college GPA comes to 96%.

All the successful candidates will now have to re-train to fly Airbus A320 planes at the air carrier’s certified crew training center, with experienced pilot instructors’ help. They will only be allowed to actually fly as co-pilots after they complete their training course and sit final exams.
