Russian Copper Company Sponsors Children’s Multiathlon

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 7, 2016. Russian Copper Company and Chelyabinsk Uralstrong Federation are coordinating The Strongest Kid, a multiathlon for children, the company press service reports.
The first such championship was held for 11- to 12-year-olds in the spring, with over 1,500 children from twenty Chelyabinsk schools taking part in the event.
This time, the multiathlon will be held on a wider scale and will involve kids from schools located in seven different city districts: Kalininsky, Kurchatovsky, Leninsky, Metallurgichesky, Sovetsky, Traktorozavodsky, and Tsentralny. Some 5,000 boys and girls from one hundred schools are expected to compete in the championship all in all.
The first championship round will be coordinated in Chelyabinsk School 2 on October 7, 2016.
