Nizhniy Tagil Hosts EVRAZ Cup Children’s Football Championship

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 28, 2016. EVRAZ Cup football championship was held among children born in 2008 and 2009 in Nizhniy Tagil for the first time this year, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s press office reports.
The event came after a company championship involving the holding’s employees that is held in Kachkanar, Sverdlovsk Region, every year.
Eight teams from three Sverdlovsk Region towns (Verkhnyaya Salda, Kachkanar, Nizhniy Tagil) competed against one another, with some twenty games held at Vysokogorets Stadium in the course of one day. In between the games, anyone could try to score with EVRAZ NTMK goalkeeper and three-time company championship winner Dmitri Shekutov at the gates.
According to the company representatives, EVRAZ Holding makes every effort to promote sports and a healthier lifestyle. The holding coordinates sports events for the employees of the company’s member enterprises in different parts of the country and supports professional sports as well.
