UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 26, 2016. Verknyaya Tura’s primary employer Verkhneturinsky Machine-Building Plant now uses MegaFon as its corporate telecommunications provider, the company press service reports.

Switching to MegaFon means the plant can now halve its mobile communication expenses. The decision to do business together was announced by MegaFon and the plant on the eve of Machine-Builder’s Day.

‘The company works with numerous partners throughout Russia as well as abroad; these partners appreciate the quality of our produce and our meeting contractual obligations. To make sure all the technicalities and issues can get discussed and resolved quickly, our employees have been provided with a company SIM card for several years now. This is actually one of the job perks we offer. Now mobile connection is getting very affordable not only for our employees but for their families as well,’ says head of the plant’s Industrial Safety Department Andrei Mordvinov.

MegaFon offers the friends and relatives of the plant’s employees an opportunity to subscribe to their services on preferential corporate terms (25% to 30% cheaper than the market’s average options). Unlike the plant workers, their family members will have to pay their phone bills out of their pockets, but at a much lower rate. This bonus comes at no extra charge for the plant.
