UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 22, 2016. Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s Omsktransmash delivered this year’s last special-purpose fire engine to customer.
According to the company press service, this means the plant has fully completed the defense procurement requirements for this year and supplied Russia’s Defense Ministry with the necessary number of vehicles.
This special-purpose fire engine was developed by Omsktransmash design engineers. The engine was originally presented at Russia Arms Expo 2013 in Nizhniy Tagil, with the Russian Armed Forces placing their orders for the unit two years later. The fire engine has been produced on a serial scale since the start of 2016.
The plant says the fire engine exceeds its existing counterparts by a number of important performance parameters.
