EVRAZ Donates to Sverdlovsk Schools

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 5, 2016. EVRAZ Holding presented 150,000-ruble gift certificates to two schools in Nizhniy Tagil and Prigorodny District, Sverdlovsk Region. The money is to be spent on sports equipment for PE classes and extracurricular activities, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s press office reports.
‘One of the certificates was given to a school in Petrokamenskoye, Prigorodny District, on the first day of school. EVRAZ Holding Nizhniy Tagil Metallurgical Works Chair of the Trade Union Vladimir Radayev and EVRAZ Holding Ural Charity Fund Director Elena Raudshtein came to the school to present the certificate and congratulate the students on the start of their school year in person. The company representatives also invited the schoolchildren to come to EVRAZ museum and take part in the upcoming amateur Olympics the plant coordinates.
The other certificate was presented to School 66 in Nizhniy Tagil; this school gets supported by EVRAZ Holding Nizhniy Tagil Metallurgical Works on a regular basis and focuses on giving its students special engineering training. Thanks to the plant’s help, a new physics lab was set up at the school last year,’ the press service says.
