Russia’s Retired to Get One-Time Premiums Not Inflation Adjustment

UrBC, Moscow, August 24, 2016. Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev announced on Tuesday that the second inflation adjustment of pension payments planned for this fall would be replaced by a one-time allowance, Prime reports.
‘The incidental allowance will amount to 5,000 roubles and will be paid in January 2017,’ the Prime Minister said.
Over 200bn RUR will be allocated for the purpose.
