ChTZ Hosts Meeting on New Tech Park

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 22, 2016. Heads of Chelyabinsk Region Government’s economy-related ministries and departments and local businessmen and women met at Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant (ChTZ) to talk about their problems, the corporation’s press service reports.

Deputy Governor of Chelyabinsk Region Ruslan Gattarov opened the meeting with his report on the new business support mechanisms in the area. He said applications could now be submitted for a new, important, and interesting project coordinated by Governor Boris Dubrovsky.

Head of Traktorozavodsky Technological Park Mikhail Titov said their premises were open for outside companies interested in acquiring the status of ChTZ resident and using the plant’s available industrial sites. The park residents will be able to pay a reduced profit tax (down from 20% to 15.5%) and zero property and land taxes.

The emerging industrial park is expected to get fully authorized by the end of the year. The site provides full power, natural gas, and water supply infrastructure as well as production departments suited for treatment of different materials and assembling of various appliances.
