Ural Vagon Zavod to Present Play in Moscow

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 11, 2016. A play based on Alexander Gelman’s We, The Undersigned will be presented in A.S. Pushkin theater in Moscow on September 19. This play was originally performed at Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s head plant in celebration of the company’s 80th anniversary.
‘We are happy to see this play acquire a life of its own,’ says Ural Vagon Zavod Deputy Director-General Alexei Zharich.
According to the company press service, the play will be produced by the original cast involved in the Nizhniy Tagil first night performance. Russian actors Andrei Kuzichev, Anna Bolshova, and Anatoly Kot, and Nizhniy Tagil Drama Theater’s Igor Bulygin, Sergei Zyryanov, and Elena Makarova are currently starring.
Bulat Okudzhava Theater Days producer Olga Galaktionova, who coordinated the Nizhniy Tagil production, says the Moscow performance will be a one-time thing for the time being, but if it proves a success, there might be more of these in the future.
