Ural Airlines’ Passenger Traffic Goes Up 20%

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 25, 2016. 685,660 people flew with Ural Airlines this June, which exceeds the figures for one year earlier by 20%, the company press service says.

The air carrier operated 4,887 flights all in all, including 3,122 domestic flights, 1,042 international flights, and 723 flights around the CIS member states. This is 14% more than one year earlier.

The company’s passenger turnover came to 1,661,397,000 passenger-kilometers in June 2016 (up 21% one June 2015). 
As for the entire year so far, Ural Airlines have offered their services to 2,659,801,000 passengers in January-June (up 18% on one year earlier) and operated 21,135 flights (including 13,285 domestic ones, 4,289 international ones, and 3,561 flights around the CIS member states), which exceeds the figures for January-June 2015 by 15%. The air carrier’s passenger traffic amounted to 6,199,991,000 passenger-kilometers (up 13% on one year earlier).

Ural Airlines proved Russia’s 5th largest air carrier in January-June 2015 in terms of passenger and cargo traffic.
