UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 20, 2016. Two workers of ChTPZ Group’s Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ) have recently been awarded the Order of Friendship after a decree to this effect was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The solemn awarding ceremony was held at Plenipotentiary Representative of Russian Federation President in Ural Federal District’s office, the Group’s press service reports.

‘One order went to head of PNTZ Pipe-Welding Department Evgeny Ilyin, who has worked at the plant for thirty years now. Ilyin is also the chair of our improvement proposal council, so he supervised numerous upgrades and renovation projects, import substitution programs, and efficiency enhancement initiatives. His department now makes electrically welded medium- and large-diameter pipes to both Russian and foreign carmakers and popular refrigerator brands,’ the press service says.

The other order was awarded to hot-roll mill roller from the plant’s Pipe Rolling Department Rafiz Nizayev, who received the award for great production achievements. He helped master the production of new OCTG types and is the author of some thirty and the co-author of over sixty improvement proposals.

There are currently eight workers at PNTZ who have been awarded the Order of Friendship all in all.
