MegaFon Updates Crimea Package
18 July 2016 (12:28)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 18, 2016. The telecommunications provider MegaFon is launching an updated version of its Crimea Package, which means subscribers traveling to Crimea can now spend less, the company press service reports.
The main thing is the 50% decrease in the cost of mobile Internet access, which comes for 5 RUR per megabyte rather than the 9.9 RUR charged previously. Also, subscribing to this option is now free of charge. Any outgoing calls still cost 5 RUR per minute and incoming calls remain free of charge. A text message sent to any Russian mobile phone number costs 3 RUR, with access fee at 15 RUR a day.
The package is now available from Sevtelecom as well (and not only from K-Telecom as was the case previously). This means MegaFon subscribers can now choose any of the two Crimean telecommunication networks to stay in touch with their family and friends. The Crimea Package is available to all of MegaFon subscribers except for those on the Around the World Package.
