Ural Vagon Zavod Gets Management System Certified

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 16, 2016. Omsk Transport Machine-Building Plant (a member enterprise of Ural Vagon Zavod) had its management system re-certified recently, the company press service reports.
The audit procedure was carried out by Moscow-based MONOLIT-Cert; the plant proved to comply with all the performance standards, was evaluated very favorably, and was re-issued a number of certificates allowing the company to keep repairing, maintaining, installing, and assembling arms and military vehicles as well as selling civilian goods.
The plant’s SovAsK job safety and healthcare management system certificate and quality management system certificate were also renewed.
These are the obligatory permits the company must hold to prove its compliance with the quality, environmental safety, and job safety requirements. The plant will have to get its job safety and healthcare management system and its quality management and environmental management systems re-certified again in September 2017 and July 2018, respectively.
