Sverdlovsk Region: Mortgage Market Up 6.3%

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 14, 2016. 39,265 mortgage deals were registered by Sverdlovsk Region authorities in January-May 2016, which was 6.3% more than one year earlier, it is reported.
Most of the mortgages are for homes (some 27,000 entries in the government register Rosreyestr, 68% of all the contracts). All in all, 115,240 certificates of ownership or other property rights have been issued for different types of housing since the start of the year; additionally, 48,463 certificates have been issued for land allotments. 4,598 contracts with building cooperatives were signed and around 8,000 certificates of cooperative membership got issued as well.
