UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 10, 2016. Sinara Pipe Plant/SinTZ (a member enterprise of Pipe Metallurgical Company) now makes a new variety of boiler pipes by order of Taganrog Krasny Kotelshchik Boiler Plant, the company press service reports.

The cold-worked pipes (diameter 31.75mm, layer thickness 6.1mm) meet the international ASME SA-210/SA-210м standard and will be used for making the equipment necessary for putting up a heat and power station in Vietnam. The Taganrog plant is one of the partners in this construction project as part of Saint Petersburg-based Power Machines. The prospective power station’s capacity will come to 1,200 megawatts.

SinTZ was chosen from among twelve leading Russian and foreign boiler pipe manufacturers. The new product is now made at the plant’s Pipe-Drawing Department 2, with ingots supplied by Seversky Pipe Plant (a member enterprise of Pipe Metallurgical Company).

The customer’s representatives came to SinTZ to supervise the product acceptance process. The first shipment (250,000 kg) was delivered in April and May; the second one has been scheduled for June.
