30 May 2016 (14:00)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 30, 2016. Two workers from Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s head plant Evgeniy Lozhkin and Vladimir Chugunov were awarded with For Merit to the Fatherland Medal at the Plenipotentiary Representative of Russian Federation President in Ural Federal District’s official residence on May 25, the company press service reports.

Evgeniy Lozhkin has worked as a sling operator at the plant’s thermal department for four decades now, while Vladimir Chugunov has been a setup operator for fifty-five years. They were both awarded for their special contribution to the Russian machine-building industry, the country’s defense potential, and protection of the Fatherland.

Both Lozhkin and Chugnov have also proved inspiring mentors for the younger workers at the plant; they can always find a more practical solution to a production problem and thus reduce production time and increase output, Plenipotentiary Representative of Russian Federation President in Ural Federal District Igor Kholmanskikh said during the award ceremony.
