Sverdlovsk Region’s IPI Stands at 88.4% in April

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 20, 2016. Sverdlovsk Region’s industrial production index for April 2016 came to 88.4% of the figure for one year earlier, Sverdlovskstat reports.
Against April 2015, the IPI dropped down by 9.4% in the fossil production sector, by 13.1% in the processing industry, and by 2.8% in the sector for production and distribution of electric power, natural gas, and water. Compared with March 2016, the figures declined by 11.8%, 5.1%, and 15.9%, respectively.
At the same time, Sverdlovsk Region’s IPI was 9.8% higher in January-April 2016 against January-April 2015.
