Ural Vagon Zavod Makes Support Units for Uvalnaya Mine

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 31, 2016. Yurginsky Plant (a member enterprise of Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation) is about to deliver its first batch of ten support units to Uvalnaya Mine, the company press service reports.
‘The first ten out of 137 units ordered by Siberian Coal Company have been assembled at the plant by now. The mining equipment produced at Yurginsky is meant for the development of the mine’s longwall face. The ten support units were manufactured in March 2016 according to customer’s requirements. Another thirty units will be made and delivered in April,’ the press service says.
Under the terms of the order, Yurginsky Plant will also produce a conveyor line, a belt elevator, a crusher, and a face-end support. The equipment is to be supplied by July 22, 2016.
