TMK Helps with RIH Operations in Sakhalin

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 2, 2016. Pipe Metallurgical Company’s TMK NGS-Buzuluk (Buzuluk, Orenburg Region) won a tender for engineering and technological support of run-in-hole operations for Gazprom Geologorazvedka, TMK press service reports.
The company experts will be present during the RIH operations at two wells on the shelf of Sakhalin Island in the Sea of Okhotsk.
TMK’s casing pipes with TMK UP CWB and TMK UP PF threaded joints will be used for the RIH operations there. The engineering supervisors are in charge of giving professional advice to the customer’s staff members, overseeing the pipe acceptance procedure, ensuring compliance with the technological requirements during removal of threaded joints, and analyzing the quality of work performed.
