UrBC, Yekaterinburg, February 25, 2016. Sverdlovsk Region Military Neuropsychiatric Hospital (whose patients are all war veterans) switched to MegaFon as their telecommunications services provider, the company press service reports.
The hospital’s team were all able to keep their old phone numbers as part of the MNP service.
‘MegaFon keeps building a more expansive network in the remotest residential areas of Yekaterinburg to ensure mobile connection and Internet access to its customers. Shirokaya Rechka, where the hospital is located, base stations were tuned to work in 2G, 3G, and 4G formats. Reliable network coverage was the key criteria the hospital went by when choosing its new provider,’ the company representatives explain.
The hospital’s PR Director Dmitri Ponomarev says they help over 20,000 patients every year, all of them Great Patriotic War and other wars’ veterans and home front workers. They obviously need good quality mobile connection as well, and MegaFon provides this reliable connection on the premises.
